Lead finder

Find Instagram accounts that could become your customers, and get the email they show publicly.

Enter an Instagram username to see who it follows, or a post link to see who commented. Then filter the list and get the details.

Step 1: Collect leads 1 credit per page of about 190 accounts

What the lead finder does

The lead finder helps you build a list of possible customers from Instagram. It only uses information that accounts have made public.

How to use it

  1. Collect. Enter a username to get the accounts it follows, or a post link to get the people who commented.
  2. Filter. Keep only the accounts you want, for example public accounts only.
  3. Get details. For the accounts you kept, get the follower count, account type and public email.
  4. Check the emails. Test which emails are real, then download your list.

Definitions

Lead

An Instagram account you collected. It becomes a useful lead when it shows a public email you can contact.

Accounts a profile follows

The accounts that one Instagram profile follows. Good for finding businesses in the same field as a profile you know.

People who commented on a post

The accounts that left a comment on one post or reel. Good for finding people who are interested in that topic.

Public account

Anyone can see its profile. Public accounts are the ones that usually show contact details. A private account hides its profile, so it rarely shows an email.

Public email

An email address the account owner chose to show, either as a contact button on a business profile or written in the bio. We never find hidden or private emails.

Verified

Instagram has confirmed that the account belongs to who it says it does. It is shown as a badge.

Account types

Personal

A normal profile for a person. Usually has no public email.

Creator

A profile for an influencer, artist or public figure. Often shows a contact email.

Business

A profile for a company or brand. Most likely to show a contact email.

What the charts show

Follower count

How many accounts fall into each size range, from under 1,000 followers to over 1 million.

Public email

How many of your leads show an email, and how many do not.

Most common categories

The business categories your leads chose, for example “Restaurant” or “Digital creator”.

Credits

Collecting a page of about 190 accounts costs 1 credit. Getting the details of one lead costs 1 credit. Filtering and viewing charts are free. Checking emails is charged separately in the email checker, 1 credit per Passed or Failed result.

Limits

Only public information is available, and many accounts show no email at all. Most personal accounts have none, so expect a smaller number of emails than accounts. A listed email is not checked until you run it through the email checker, and it does not mean the person agreed to be contacted.
