How to Find an Email Address From an Instagram Profile
5 min read
If you want to contact a business you found on Instagram, the quickest route is often its public email. Not every profile has one, but many business accounts do. This guide shows where to look for one profile, and what to do when you have a whole list.
Check one profile by hand
- Open the profile on the Instagram app or website.
- Read the bio. Owners often type an email or a contact line there.
- Look for a Contact or Email button under the bio. Business and creator accounts can show one.
- Open the link in the bio. A link page or website often lists a contact address.
- If nothing shows, send a direct message, or look at the website's contact page.
Why many profiles show nothing
- The account is personal, not a business or creator account.
- The owner prefers messages and never added an email.
- The profile is private.
That is normal. A realistic result is that only some accounts in any list have a public email, and the share depends on the niche.
When you have a list, not one profile
Opening profiles one by one stops being practical after a few dozen. A common approach is to start from a public account your buyers follow, such as a supplier or a local brand, collect the accounts it follows, filter them by account type and followers, and look up the public email for the ones that fit.

An address on a profile can be old or mistyped. Run it through an email check first, so your message does not bounce and your sender reputation stays healthy.
Paste or upload your list. Only Passed and Failed results use a credit. Unknown results are free.

- Say who you are and why you are writing to this business.
- Keep it short and relevant to what they do.
- Include an easy way to opt out, and follow the email laws that apply, such as CAN-SPAM in the US and GDPR in the EU.
